Mental health.  Made easy.  Made aspirational.

Clinical lineage and expertise, technology, and operations under one roof.  A belief that expert care shouldn't be hard to find and should become aspirational

Child leaping - ICGC child mental health, made easy, made aspirational

The Vision

To be the steady support a family can lean on, so every child has the room, the team, and the time to become who they are capable of being.

A child's difficulties rarely sit in one neat box. A child with a developmental or behavioural difficulty may need speech therapy and occupational therapy and behavioural support and, sometimes, medication — and right now families are left to stitch these together themselves, across different clinics, different specialists, and different opinions. ICGC exists to close that gap: one clinically led team that looks at the whole child, not one piece of them.

Integrated, clinically led care

Psychiatrists, therapists across speech, OT, and special education, and counsellors work as one team around each child — not as separate appointments that never talk to each other. Medical management, allied therapies, and behavioural and family support, under one clinically led roof.

Dedicated, child-safe spaces

Children don't do their best work in a cabin built for adults. Real progress needs the right room: sensory equipment, safe materials, space to move. ICGC centers are built specifically for this — not repurposed office space.

Technology that keeps care personal

Digital intake, structured tracking, AI-assisted workflows — so a child's care stays personal and consistent from center to center, not just at the one a family happens to visit first.

That is what integrated care, the right space, and the right technology add up to: one team a family can lean on, for as long as it takes.

Our Roots

42 years of lineage, a focused new chapter

ICGC operates independently today, but its roots trace back to a 42-year-old psychiatric institution — and that origin still shapes how the clinic thinks about care.

  1. 1980s · Vijayawada

    Indlas Hospitals founded

Dr. Indla Ramasubba Reddy, trained at NIMHANS, established a psychiatric institution in Vijayawada. It grew into a group spanning inpatient care, de-addiction, and rehabilitation — treating tens of thousands of patients and families over four decades. He went on to lead the Indian Psychiatric Society and become the first Indian to head the SAARC Psychiatric Federation.

  2. 2000s · NIMHANS → Indlas

Dr. Vishal Indla builds his clinical career

Completed his MD in Psychiatry at NIMHANS as gold medalist, then built his early career within the family institution, eventually becoming a director of Indlas Hospital and Indlas Shantivan, its psychiatric and rehabilitation centers.

  3. 2015 · Mumbai

    ICGC launched

Dr. Vishal branched out to build something more focused: integrated mental health care for children and adolescents. The first ICGC centres opened in Sakinaka, Mumbai and Vijayawada — purpose-built around child-safe spaces and a multidisciplinary team model.

  4. 2023 · Expanding

    avika launched, network grows

avika brought adult psychotherapy - VR-based exposure therapy and a technology platform alongside ICGC's child-focused model. The network expanded to 5 ICGC centers across Mumbai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam, plus multiple avika mind hubs in Hyderabad.

  5. 2026 · Today

    One integrated platform

ICGC and avika are consolidating into a single corporate entity — psychotherapy delivery across child and adult segments, backed by technology that keeps care personal at scale.

The academic pipeline

Dr. Vishal remains actively involved in Indlas' academic programme, the NBE-accredited DNB Psychiatry training and the Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, one of very few in the country outside NIMHANS and PGI Chandigarh.

Indlas also offers MPhil in Clinical Psychology that is recognised by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Fellows from PDF and clinical psychology programmes spend their training year at ICGC itself, and some of ICGC's current team have come through that exact pipeline, a direct line back to the same academic rigour that built the rest of the group.

The Team

The people behind the care

The best care happens when clinical depth, technology, and operational rigour stop working in silos. And that's what the team set out to do...

Our stars on the ground

Beyond the founding team, ICGC runs on its city-based clinical teams: the psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, special educators, and counsellors a family actually meets, session after session. Each centre operates under the same clinical standards and the same integrated model.

Now you know who we are. Let us get to know your child.
